But how do we do it?

Updated: Mar 20

That's the question participants on our Preventing Sexual Harassment courses have been asking us since the Worker Protection Act Duty was implemented on 26th October namely:

  • How do you actually carry out a risk assessment of potential sexual harassment areas in the workplace?

and

  • What can you do with the results?

We can show you with our new Risk Assessment toolkit training which:

  • Sets out the new legal and technical provisions of the Worker Protection Act including definitions.

  • Throws a spotlight on the 10 recurring common areas of sexual harassment risk as identified through tribunal casework analysis, comprehensive UK survey results and researched technical guidance from the Equality Commission

  • Takes people step by step with risk assessments in a wide selection of these known or anticipated risk areas within your workplace. This part of the course is the weightiest and will draw on your policies as well as any organisational briefings you can supply in confidence to us.

  • Subsequently provides the basis for subsequent action plans to remedy the potential or actual risk. And what needs to be done quickly. Case studies and benchmarking illustrating proven examples of sustained actions that have worked elsewhere are showcased.

Risk Assessments can often be seen as dry and dusty. We work hard with

participants to make the subject interesting and interactive with:-

  • Breaking News -and there is plenty of that at the

    moment

  • Case Studies

  • Mini Policy Audits

  • Quizzes

  • Discussions

  • You the Jury -real cases for your verdict!
